Professor Dr. Abdul Monaf is a highly accomplished urology specialist with extensive academic and
clinical experience spanning several decades. He completed his MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani
Medical College in 1978, securing 9th position in the Chittagong University.
He achieved his PhD in Urology from the prestigious Kiev Institute of Urology, Ukraine, where he
also worked as a researcher for 6 years.
Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the advancement, modernization, and
decentralization of urology services in Bangladesh.
In recognition of his outstanding contribution, BAUS awarded him the Late Idris Laskar Memorial
Gold Medal Lecture Award in 2015.
